FRIDAY AFTERNOON
Get ready to hit Trondheim Following check in, a guide will meet you at the hotel and you will embark on a guided tour of Trondheim where you will visit some of Norway’s most skilled baristas and take coffee at the Sellanraa Bok & Bar, Trondheim’s hottest cafe among students, before heading to Jacobsen & Svart.

The group will taste different types of coffee, as well as learn how baristas in Trondheim make some of the finest coffee in Norway.

Trondheim’s Big Gourmet Tour
After some free time, guests will embark on an incredible Gourmet Tour, which will consist of visits to local eateries to sample local cuisine and delicacies at renowned restaurants like Bula, Kraft, Folk & Fe and To Rom og Kjøkken, where proprietor Roar Hildonen inventor of the Kyoto cocktail and former world cocktail champion is on hand to show you his skills. The evening will be one of immense culinary splendor where you will sample some of the most exciting food Scandinavia has to offer. Friday night is party night in Trondheim where visitors often relax and take in the delights of the city by heading out into the buzzing gourmet and pub scene, in what will be a perfect first day in Trondheim.

SATURDAY
Amazing breakfast then hit the water One of the highlights of your day will be the amazing breakfast buffet put on by the award winning Chef’s at the Scandic Nidelven Hotel. Powered up and ready to go, guests will be picked up at the hotel by a local guide who will take you to the port where RIB boats are kept. You will change into safety equipment and warm waterproof suits. The skipper will then take you out on a relaxing canal safari to see Trondheim by water in what will give you a wonderful experience of Norway’s canal city. Lunch on the way.

Afternoon adventure & twinings treat After the RIB safari you will visit the Britannia Hotel for your Twinings Afternoon Tea, which you will enjoy in the splendour of the famous and majestic Palm Court. Following tea, guests will be treated to a tour of Trondheim’s famous brewing scene. Trondheim is renowned for its local beer and incredible history a city famous for brewing. Your tour will start in the afternoon and where you will be met at the hotel before setting off on a tasting experience sampling some of the best local beers from Trondheim’s famous breweries. Stops will include a visit to the ØX Tap Room, which is located in one of Trondheim’s oldest underground cellars. This will be followed by a visit to Monkey Brew, the smallest brewery in Trondheim, before heading to E.C Dahls Brewery, the biggest brewery in the region. Your dinner will be at the hotel where they can offer a fantastic traditional Trondheim menu. It’s Saturday night in Trondheim and another opportunity to sample the delicacies the city has to offer.

SUNDAY
Check Out After breakfast, guests can take a stroll around the city before check out and depart back to Trondheim Vaernes Airport.
